An important aspect of the Natural History Collections project at Randolph College is the use of the collections as source material for aspiring artists. The collections are utilized by students and faculty at Randolph College through the Natural History Drawing Group and Art Department courses such as Animal Drawing. In addition, the Biology Department hosts an open studio in scientific illustration for local schoolchildren during the annual Science Festival.
